Crazy Week

This past week was rather crazy. We have been in our apartment here in Sherman Oaks, CA for three weeks exactly now but last week was definitely the most eventful. It started off by me getting booked to do background work on the popular and hilarious tv show "The Office". It was a great experience. I was picked a few times to appear right next to the principal actors and I got to meet them all. Steve Carell was SO funny! He was also a really nice guy, I was able to have a conversation with him a couple times. The rest of the cast were also all very nice and down to earth except for Rainn Wilson who plays Dwight on the show. Maybe he was having a bad week but he complained all day long! Anyways it was tons of fun and I will definitely be seen several times during the episode, it should be airing the last week of March or the first week of April, I'll let you guys know! The other crazy thing that happened was on friday night. There was, as most of you know, an 8.8 earthquake in Chile near my wife's home town of Concepcion. If you have seen the news you'll see that a lot of areas have been completely destroyed, we couldn't get in contact with anyone until yesterday. We finally were able to call them and luckily everyone in her family is fine. Right now they have no water or electricity and all of the stores have been looted so there is no where to purchase supplies. Luckily they have enough to last them for a while but very soon they are going to need funds and resources to be able to continue surviving and to rebuild. We will be organizing a fund raiser soon to help them out! Anyways I'm hoping to make some good progress this month in my acting career, I really need to get an agent and also try and become eligible to join the Union asap! I feel pretty confident that I can do well out here based on what I have seen so far!
